FRANGI VELVET
The Story Behind Frangi Velvet
This began in Southern Thailand — where a handful of local distillers extract true frangipani in small yearly quantities. No shortcuts. No mass yield. Just care, patience, and soul.
We built Frangi Velvet around that rare material — not to polish it, but to let it move.
We paired it with wild Western Australian sandalwood — creamy, yes, but also textured and raw at the edges. Thai oud was added not for weight, but for shape — giving the blend tension, contrast, and subtle structure.
What came through was more than floral.
It was tactile. Radiant. Velvet with a pulse.
Fragrance Description
Forget the frangipani you think you know.
This isn’t the postcard version — sweet, loud, or tropical.
Frangi Velvet opens with real Thai Frangipani Absolute: lush, soft, and full of presence.
It blooms slowly, unfolding into air — luminous, not bright; creamy, not cloying.
Western Australian sandalwood surrounds it like skin — smooth but alive, never dull.
There’s a grounding warmth to it, but no heaviness. The base breathes.
A subtle floral heart takes shape: rose absolute and geranium add nuance, while patchouli and guaiacwood lend quiet rhythm beneath the petals.
Then the thread of Thai oud arrives — not smoky, not strong — just a fine shadow at the edge of light. It deepens the blend without darkening it.
This isn’t a statement scent. It’s a presence —
one you don’t immediately notice, but can’t forget once it’s there.
