AMERICAN MAGNOLIA
The Story Behind American Magnolia
We weren’t looking to recreate the idea of magnolia. We wanted the real thing.
Not the cleaned-up, lab-built version you find in most perfumes — but the actual flower. Magnolia grandiflora, gathered wild from the American South and distilled at night, when its scent is richest. That’s where we started.
It was too beautiful to decorate. Too complete to edit. Our job was simply to listen — to build a frame around this rare, radiant material without distorting what made it special. This wasn’t about showing off. It was about clarity. Respect.
A real magnolia. A true perfume. Nothing less.
Fragrance Description
It doesn’t begin gently — it strikes in the most beautiful way.
Magnolia, full-bloom and unmistakable. Bright like morning sun on petals. Clean without sterility. Creamy, but never soft-focus. The natural citrus twist of the flower is there from the start — lemon, white petals, and a cool rush of air. The opening feels immediate, whole, and breathtakingly real.
Then it begins to open wider.
You catch the fruit beneath the flower — not an add-on, but part of its DNA. Ripe peach skin. Apricot pulp. Warm, golden ylang ylang stitched in to round the edges. There’s texture, light, and a kind of quiet confidence — nothing is trying too hard. Everything feels in place.
It dries down with grace.
Western Australian sandalwood provides the structure — smooth, grounded, unfussy. A touch of musk, a quiet thread of vanilla. But even here, it’s the magnolia that stays. Calmer now, closer to the skin. Still luminous.
